About Jennifer Cook
Before choosing a career in real estate, I was a K-12 Health Education teacher and small business owner (restaurant) with my husband, Ray. Although these jobs were very different from each other, both required boundless energy and enthusiasm for the role I played everyday. Enter Real Estate… Becoming a REALTOR® has, hands down, been the best career decision I’ve ever made. I like to call this job a “good fit” because I’m able to put all of my skills and energy into action – and there’s NEVER a dull moment. What keeps me extra excited to do this job 24/7 is that there’s always an opportunity to learn something new, plus, I still get to “teach”. Helping Buyers and Sellers understand and navigate through real estate is actually fun! I LOVE this job! I’m a full-time, dedicated REALTOR®, so when I have to spend time away from my family, it’s because I’m helping someone else’s – and that’s very, very rewarding. Besides my REALTOR® duties to all of my clients, I try to jump in and be extra helpful to our Minot Air Force Base active duty members and their families, as they arrive and depart our great state. It has always been important to me that, the people I care FOR are well taken care OF. That fueled my decision to become a Certified MRP® – Military Relocation Professional. When I’m not “wearing my REALTOR® hat”, I love spending time in the kitchen – and at the family table – with my husband and girls. I’m lucky (and spoiled!) to have such good cooks at my house! I also love the outdoors – especially summer days on the golf course with my family. During the winter months, I like to play in the snow (tubing, skiing) and dream of warmer weather! Other favorite things of mine are architecture and home staging – which leads to shopping any furniture store I can get my hands on! When I finally shutdown the computer for the day, I’m usually vying for a spot in front of the fireplace (move over cat!) so I can settle down with a good book; I’m partial to paper pages. We have so many things to be grateful for in North Dakota and I’m VERY proud to be a REALTOR® here in our beautiful state!
